The roundabout at South Carson and Stewart streets will be the site of a new public sculpture. Photo by Scott Neuffer . Carson City has announced the selection of three finalists for the South Carson Street Roundabout Public Art Project. 'This process is step one in selecting the artist that will design the ‘gateway' art piece that will be placed in the South Carson Street/South Stewart Street roundabout,' reads a press release from the city's Parks and Recreation Department. The artists selected are Karen Yank from New Mexico, Curtis Pittman from Washington and Michael Szabo from California.
